Adverts in the "For Sale" forum

The Radio Amateurs' Emergency network provides a Forum for members to advertise private sale items or post "wanted" requests for items of equipment.

The Forum is provided as a Member to Member service for personal sales. The Radio Amateurs' Emergency Network has no involvement in the sale and cannot be held responsible for any of the items offered, descriptions or the ability for the parties to complete the transaction.

Adverts or wanted requests may only be posted by private individuals or on behalf of RAYNET Groups, selling or requesting single items. In the case of postings on behalf of RAYNET Groups, small quantities are permissible providing it is obvious that there is no commercial intent.

No adverts for services are permitted unless they are being offered as free help to other RAYNET members or Groups (such as reprogramming of commercial PMR radios for use on amateur frequencies).

The posting of links to external auction or sale sites (such as eBay) is permissible, providing the items featured would be allowed under these rules.

Once an item has been sold or obtained, the original advertiser should remove the advert as soon as possible. All adverts (unless offering a service) and wanted requests are deemed to have a maximum life of 3 months and Forum administrators will delete any older than this during housekeeping.

Adverts and wanted requests not complying with these rules will be deleted. Members in persistent violation will have their forum accounts suspended.

Commercial replies to specific posts

Specific commercial replies related to the thread topic are acceptable, provided any commercial interest by the person posting is either obvious or stated.
