The 2006 National RAYNET Convention and AGM, to be
held in Fife House, Glenrothes, Fife on Saturday November 4th.
The Convention is open to all RAYNET members, regardless
of affiliation.
The Provost will open the event and lunch and refreshments will be
provided.
A keynote presentation and a series of demonstrations and workshops
have been arranged for the morning. There will also be an opportunity
to look round the Fife communications vehicle.
RAYNET Supplies will be in attendance.
Local transport will be arranged for anyone coming by train on the
day and details of this will be given nearer the time.
Regrettably, due to recent security changes, it
will not be possible to arrange pick up for those arriving by air.
The day's events are open to all RAYNET members, regardless of affiliation
and the Network looks forward to welcoming everyone to its first convention.
There will also be an opportunity to visit Jaycee Electronics radio
emporium, an outpost of Waters & Stanton, which will remain open
later than usual.
Accommodation is available at the Premier Travel Inn, Beaufort Drive,
Glenrothes, which is a short drive from the Convention venue and can
be booked direct

Members are responsible for booking their own accommodation.
The traditional dinner will be arranged at the nearby Brewsters Restaurant
for the Saturday evening.
