Individuals join a RAYNET group, an autonomous body governed by its members. Many Groups choose to take advantage of the extensive range of services provided by RAYNET-UK. This is done by the group registering its members with RAYNET-UK.
Membership of RAYNET is open to anyone aged 14 or over with an interest in the organisation’s aims. It does not matter if you hold an Amateur Radio licence or not, as there are many disciplines involved in RAYNET work.

Forming a new group
You may feel that there is no suitable group locally and that a nucleus of Radio Amateurs may wish to consider forming a new group. RAYNET-UK is fully aware of the challenges associated with starting a RAYNET group and will be pleased to put you in touch with people who have had considerable experience in developing and managing RAYNET groups.
